Kokomo Athletics

Kokomo girls basketball beat ranked Triton Central Thursday night 47-43. We took care of the ball and took the best possible shot all night. We played as a team and really trusted each other. Going on the road and beating a very talented team is always hard, but Kokomo played aggressive and overcame adversity with poise. Ma’Kaela Drake led Kokomo with 16 points and 3 steals, Satyra Scott and Aijia Elliott both contributed 7 points. Avi Pollard and Kamaria White added 6. The Lady Kats have a two game home stent where we will play Tipton Tuesday and Taylor Wednesday. GO KATS. -coach Haley peckinpaugh
