Boys (95 - 83) Loss Tuesday night the Katfish traveled North to take on the Lewis Cass Kings in a dual meet for the ages. The Katfish came out with a new energy, as many athletes were not participating in their primary events but trying something new. We had some good swims all around and were able to score points based on depth rather than first place finishes. Ultimately, the Katfish fell to the Kings 95 - 83. First place finishes include: Talon Hawkins in the 100 Fly; Isaac Flamino in the 100 Breaststroke; and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Oliver Taskey, Hayden Moore, Ethan Landrum, and Talon Hawkins. We performed pretty well, with many athletes swimming events for the first time this season. Showed some grit in the back half of the meet finishing 1, 2 in the 100 Fly, 2, 3, 4 in the 100 Backstroke, and going 1, 2 in the 400 Free Relay. A lot of things to be excited about for these young Katfish, I’m proud of their performance tonight! The Katfish are back in action Thursday at home against Oak Hill for Senior night at 6pm!
