Boys (59 - 109) Loss vs. Rochester Boys (72 - 95) Loss vs. Logansport Saturday morning the Katfish traveled to Rochester, Indiana to take on the Rochester Zebras and Logansport Berries as part of a double-dual swim meet. Unfortunately, our young squad’s efforts weren’t represented in the final score as the Katfish lost both swim meets, 59 - 109 vs. Rochester and 72 - 95 vs. Logansport. Despite the final score, the Katfish left on a positive note with several takeaways from the meet. We’re still very young and inexperienced in terms of competitive swimming, but we had athletes pushing themselves to the absolute brink today! Dylan Snodgrass has been really pushing himself in practice and was given the opportunity to swim his first 200 IM race today - dude pushed himself so much he needed help getting out the pool… and THAT is the type of energy and intensity this young squad needs! Bryce Brassard, Oliver Taskey, Jose Callvio, Hayden Moore, and Rylan Early had some great races in their individual events; as did our 200 Free Relay (Bryce Brassard, Oliver Taskey, Talon Hawkins, Isaac Flamino) with a second place finish, and the 400 Free Relay (Hayden Moore, Ethan Lytle, Ethan Landrum, Talon Hawkins) - finishing third. The Katfish are back in the practice pool for a few weeks, then headed to the North Central Conference Meet at Purdue University on January 6th. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! Go Katfish! - Coach Whiteman
