The Kokomo Lady Kats lose another tough one to #1 Hamilton Heights on Tuesday night. The press of Hamilton Heights was just too much for Kokomo without their starting point guard, Kamaria White, whom is out with a concussion. It has been a tough week for the Lady Kats with our opponents records in the last 7 days combining for 29-2, but we will be better for this schedule in the long run. They pressed all night and we just couldn't seem to handle it without turning the ball over. We had the most turnovers we have had all season and couldn't hit open shots. Nothing went our way all night and sometimes it's going to be like that and someone just has to step up. Aijia Elliott led the way with 15 points and 6 blocks. Regan McClain played great defense against a top-tier player and gave great hustle. Aviannah Pollard, whom was coming off of sickness, gave great minutes off the bench and took care of the ball most of the game. The Lady Kats are back in action Friday at 6pm at Marion for a boy/girl double-header.
