Varsity vs Northwestern (50 - 126) Loss Monday night the Katfish hosted their cross-county rival Northwestern Tigers. Excited and ready to race, the Katfish came out with energy but experience would prove to be the difference, as the Katfish fell to the Tigers 126 - 50. First place finishes include: Talon Hawkins in the 500 Freestyle & Isaac Flamino in the 100 Fly. Our guys were out-matched by a team of experienced swimmers, plain and simple. This Northwestern squad has some depth and can compete well, having coached many of their swimmers previously (as part of local swim organizations); I've seen it first-hand… these boys have put in the time. And now is our time to put in the work! Coming off a meet-heavy stretch, I’m excited to see what this team can do at practice all week. They’ve proven the desire to get out and race, but now’s where the hard work and development of technique really comes to the forefront.
