Varsity vs Marion (95 - 70) Win Wednesday night the Katfish hosted the conference rivals Marion Giants. Our whole squad came out fired up, ready to swim, and ultimately took care of business beating the Giants 95-70. First place finishes include: Triple winners Milla Hawkins (100 Free, 100 Breaststroke, 400 Free Relay), Morgan Rakestraw (50 Free, 100 Fly, 400 Free Relay), Alyssa Frederick (200 Free, 500 Free, 400 Free Relay); Double winner Maddie Armstrong (200 IM, 400 Free Relay); and Taylor Belzer in the 100 Backstroke. We’ve lost some close meets this season, so it’s great to finally see all our hard work result in a win. Seeing their development in the pool is fantastic, the leaps and bounds they’ve taken from our first meet is wild. Can’t wait to see what the rest of this season has in store for us. Katfish are back on the road Saturday, headed to Hamilton Heights for the Husky Invite. Go Katfish! Coach Whiteman
