Your Lady Kats start the conference 1-0 after a big win against Anderson on Saturday 51-35. The JV also kept their streak going as they won their game to stay undefeated at 6-0. We finally started to shoot a little better as a team. Satyra Scott shot 75% from 3 going 3 of 4 and Amara Stroman shot 50% from 3. This was a total team effort as 8 different Lady Kats scored. Our assist to turnover ratio was 13 to 11, which is the best we’ve had all season thus far. Aijia Elliott led all scorers with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Satyra Scott added 9 points and Kamaria White stuffed the stat sheet with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Avi Pollard also stuffed the stat sheet with 5 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
