On Saturday the Wildkats raced in the NCC championship and placed 4th overall. We were led by junior Reece Wright who ran a PR time of 17:25 and placed 6th overall, which earned him all-conference honors. Reece ran a great final half of his race as he moved 7 places in order to solidify his placement. Owen Downing(18:33) and Tanner Workman(18:44) also set big PR's and had great races for the Kats. Overall a solid day for our guys as we head toward the IHSAA postseason. We will have this upcoming weekend off and begin preparation for the IHSAA sectional on October 17th in Logansport. The boys have worked hard all year and will be looking to qualify for the regional for the third straight season when we race in the sectional. Wish the boys well over the next couple weeks! Go Kats!
