Football season has come to a close this fall for the Wildkats. We fell Friday to Mississinewa 31-24. We started off slow and were unable to over come that start. We gave a few big plays in the passing game which ended up being the difference. We clawed our way back from a 17 point half time deficit which helped give us a chance in the 4th quarter but we were unable to come up with stop with 3 minutes to go in the game and Mississinewa ran out the clock. Offensively we were led one final time by Reis Beard. He had 22 carries for 167 yards which put him over 1,000 on the season. He also rushed for 2 touchdowns. Andrew Barker had 5 catches for 55 yards in the game. Defensively we were led by Tracy Dowling and Andrew Barker. Both had a total of 10 tackles. It was a great season for the Wildkats as we finished up 9-3. We have a lot of young talent in our program and will be looking for them to step up next season.
