The girls competed in sectionals on Friday at Chippendale in a much cooler atmosphere than we have been used to this year, which was a relief! We didn't score as well as we can, but did pretty well overall with the pressure being so high trying to defend the title from last year. We ended up placing third, so we get to advance to Regionals this Friday, which has both been moved from Saturday and from Battle Ground to Harrison Hills. We are just out to have some fun at a new course this week and taking on the new challenge. (We also get to run into and old friend, Jason Smith as he had an individual qualify!) To prepare, we plan to do some course analysis, celebrate our senior, Lucy Goad, and just enjoy that we get an extra week in the golf season!
