Friday night the Kats battled Jay County and the elements. We were able to over come a slow start and few mistakes to bring home a post season win 21-14. Our defense played great by only giving up 121 total yards. We starter slow on offense as this was only the second time we had not scored a point in the first quarter. We clawed back and came out of half time with a few big plays to over whelm the Patriots and sent them packing. Offensively we were led by Reis Beard. He had 28 carries for 166 yards. Darrian Story Jr. and Tracy Dowling both had a touchdown to help us to victory. Defensively, we were led by Terrion Wilson who recorded 6 tackles with half for a loss and half a sack. We registered 4 tackles for a loss and 2 sacks as a team. We also added in 5 pass break ups but were unable to come up with an interception. We over came some adversity to advance to the semi finals! We will be hosting Marion with a shot to advance to the sectional championship game. We hope to have a good turnout and look forward to seeing your support. Go Kats!
