We all played really well vs Peru. The second match vs West Lafayette was super tight. Mitch had an incredible, gutsy day and left everything out there. Mateus was the deciding point and really played well too. #1 Doubles got behind and lost the 1st set in a tiebreaker and then really took off and had a great comeback victory. These matches were good for #2 doubles to see some better competition so that they can keep improving. Micah played his best match of the year against an undefeated opponent and was right there. Winning versus West Lafayette was nice, but we have to keep getting better! The last match, we were just a little gassed and they are just such an exceptional program. I was super proud of how hard our guys played. Fighting to the very end, through cramps and fatigue. Overall, I felt like we took a big step forward today!
