The Lady Kats raced in the Brownsburg Invite and saw some growth as we had several runners set personal best. Leading the way was Alaina Thompson, as she placed 21st overall in the competitive field with a PR time of 19:50, which puts her 3rd all time in KHS history This was a 41 second PR from last week and Alaina ran a great race and moved up all through the race. She is starting to hit her stride and is seeing her year round training pay off. She still has work to do, but we are happy with her progress this far. In the JV race Naomi Black(28:36), Emmie Sargent(31:59), Marley Vawter(34:42), and Addison Wright(36:55) all set new personal best. These girls are all brand new to the sport this season and we are proud of how they are working to get better each week. They raced against a competitive field on Saturday and kept working and finding other girls to run with and push themselves. They have good attitudes and will continue to see growth with each passing week! Go Kats!! Coach Ousley
