The Lady Kats fell to McCutcheon in the semi-finals of sectional play 8-0. We had a rocky first half, but every player turned around and gave it their absolute all in the second half. Unfortunately, we fell short to McCutcheon's quick transitions and passing patterns. We fought hard until the end and never gave up, which speaks volumes to our team's growth and the girls' hearts. The senior defense played their hearts out and were relentless. Maddie Carpenter had an outstanding game in the goal with 13 stellar saves. Riley Rudolph, Darriuna Kirby, and Lyrik Barbour fought the entire game against a skilled McCutcheon defense. We want to give a special shout-out and thank you to our seniors Keira Andrysiak, Lyrik Barbour, Ellen Callane, Maddie Carpenter, Indiria Faison, Darriuna Kirby, and Riley Rudolph. It has been an honor to coach them, and they have left a lasting impact on our Lady Kat program. The future is very bright for these seniors. We will work in the off-season and return stronger than ever for our upcoming 2024 season. We are proud of our Lady Kats!
