The VolleyKats lost to a tough Carmel team in 3 sets on Thursday night. We came out very slow in the beginning of the match and had to play from behind all night. The third set we competed and lost 25-21, but the girls showed a lot of grit and competitiveness in that final set. Some highlights include: Abby Hansen had a great night with 5 kills and 4 aces. Taylor Reed had 4 digs and Kinley Martin had 3 digs. Torre Willis had 8 assists. We’re back in action Saturday at the NCC tournament. GO KATS. -coach peckinpaugh
