The Kokomo Wildkats kicked off their season at Northwestern racing the 3k Northwestern combine against seven other teams. The Kats placed 3rd overall tonight. We had solid performances across the board led by Reece Wright who ran a 10:42 and was our first runner in. Monte Bunn was right behind with a time of 10:46. Leo Serra, Arthur Andrade, Joelle Nieto, Owen Downing, & Tanner Workman rounded out our varsity lineup, as they all ran in a tight pack for most of the race working together to help each other out. We now turn our attention to our first 5k this Saturday, as we race in the Jacob Graf Invite at Logansport in the tough Berry Patch. Go Kats!! Coach Ousley
