The VolleyKats played some tough competition on Saturday and finished the tournament in 6th place out of 8. Our losses came from: Huntington North, Goshen and Fort Wayne Northrop. We beat Marion in the morning game. We struggled with serve-receive a majority of the day and that led to other teams going on runs, which caused us to play from behind. By the end of the day, our communication was better, but we need to capitalize on other teams mistakes and focus on ball-control on our side of the court. Hopefully the strong competition we played will better prepare us for Carmel this Thursday and NCC’s this weekend. GO KATS. -coach Haley peckinpaugh
