Last Friday the Kats traveled to Lafayette to take on the McCutcheon Mavericks. The Mavs came out on top with a score of 10-6. Lack of execution on both sides of the ball were the story all night for the Kats. We turned the ball over 4 times in our opponents territory and could not over come that. Offensively we were led by Keemarion Pollard. He had 15 rushes and eclipsed the century mark for the first time in his career finishing with 112 yards and 1 touchdown. We struggled to maintain a drive on Friday and our final score shows that with only 6 points scored. Defensively we were led by Khairi Floyd and Brixton Morris who had 7 tackles a piece. Our execution lacked on this side of the ball on night. We did not play our normal style of fast stingy defense. We hope to bounce back ASAP on this side of the ball. This week is homecoming against Anderson. It is already week 7 so if you have not gotten to catch a game yet there are still a few good chances to come out and watch. We hope to see you Friday night.
