The Lady Kats competed in the Culver Academies Invite on Saturday and placed 22nd in the big school race. The competition and course were tough but overall the Kats raced well. Gretchen Riggle was the first Kat in with a time of 25:37, which is a 45 second drop from last weeks time. Gretchen got out and started the race well on Saturday and was able to move up throughout the race to finish strong. Teammates Christina Durham & Claire Callane were next in and both of them raced the course well. Both girls are making strides and getting better each and every week in their first season of running. The Kats race next this upcoming Saturday in the NCC meet over at Tippecanoe Amphitheater in Lafayette. Go KATS! Coach Ousley
