The Lady Kats split their NCC doubleheader over the weekend. The girls fell to Marion game one, 15-1. Offensively, Lucy Goad and Jordynn Dupay had the only hits of the game for the Lady Kats. Jordynn pitched- giving up 15 runs (9 earned) on six walks and seven strikeouts. The Kats had six errors in game one. The girls turned it around game two vs Anderson. The Lady Kats beat Anderson 6-1 in a complete team effort, only having eight players! Defensively, it was the best game the girls have played all year! Offensively, Lucy Goad paced the way, going 4-4 and scoring three runs. Jordynn had two big hits as well and Javaiha Harvard and Camryn Tucker each contributed a hit a piece. Madyson Rink also scored two runs in the game, swiping three bases and hitting in a run in the bottom of the seventh. Jordynn was dominant on the mound and showed great physical and mental toughness, throwing both ends of the doubleheader on Saturday. In game two, she struck out seven and allowed only one run on four hits
