The Wildkats competed in the New Prairie Invite on Saturday and came away with a 22nd place finish. The guys raced well overall against tough competition on a tough course and came away better than when they arrived. Cooper Cage led the Kats with a time of 17:16, as he came in 56th place. Following him were Connor Frederick & Kelton Serra, as they raced to times of 18:54 & 19:23 respectively. Connor continues to have a great season as he improved 2 minutes from his time on this same course last season. We did have two personal bests, as senior Adam Kemper & sophomore Ethan Lytle both set new PRs’ as they ran 22:48 & 22:59 respectively. I am proud of both guys racing well together and improving on this tough course! Our guys will race next Saturday, September 23rd at Culver in the Culver Academies Invite! Go KATS!! Coach Ousley
