Kokomo Athletics

The Kokomo Lady Kats lost 19-4 to the Elwood Panthers Wednesday night. Showing immense growth on the field, these girls continued to battle until the very end. After two tough innings to start the game, the Lady Kats defense held the Panthers to only three runs for the rest of the game. Jordynn Dupay had another fantastic outing, with only 3 earned runs in the game, 4 walks and 9 strikeouts. Jordynn continues to show great leadership on the mound and at the plate, where she was 2-3 with an RBI. Other notable plate appearances include a two run double in the fifth from Lucy Goad, followed by an RBI triple from Camryn Tucker- her first varsity career hit. Congratulations, Camryn! We will continue to battle this evening as we travel to perennial powerhouse, Harrison.
