The Kats hosted the bearcats on Friday night in a conference match up. We were looking to improve like we do each week and to be victorious. We left Friday night outgaining Muncie 350 total yards to 106. 80 of Muncie's 106 yards came on one play late in the game. We once again dominated the time of possession with 32:12 to 15:48. If we continue to win these state categories we should continue to take care of business. On offense we were led by Reis Beard. He compiled 179 yards on 20 carries and had 3 rushing touchdowns. Passing he was 5-9 for 88 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Barker had all 88 yards receiving on 5 catches with a touchdown catch. Barker also set a school record for the longest punt in history with a 73 yard boot. Defensively we were led by Keemarion Pollard with 5 tackles and Lukas Degraffenreid with 4 tackles. We played great team defense with 4 tackles for a loss and recovered 3 fumbles. Another amazing stat from Friday we gave up -1 total passing yards for the game.
