Here are the results for Kokomo's gymnastics meet on 2/28 (IHSAA Sectional). Meet Location: Harrison Participating Schools: Benton Central, Carroll (Flora), Crawfordsville, Faith Christian, Harrison (West Lafayette), Kokomo, Lafayette Jefferson, Logansport, McCutcheon, North Montgomery, North Putnam, Northwestern, Southmont, Tri-County, West Lafayette, Western, Westfield Event/Score/Placing: Vault 8.55 Bars 8.3 5th Beam 9.275 1st (Sectional Champion!) Floor 8.85 All Around 34.975 5th (Advancing to regional in the all around) Megan went out and did what she needed to do to advance from today's sectional to next week's regional at Portage High School. She had an amazing beam routine and I'm so happy for her to win that sectional title during her senior campaign. Her routines on each event were consistent and that is what is needed at this stage of competition. She's hoping to have another good week of practice and then a strong showing on Saturday.
