Varsity vs Richmond (59 - 43) Win Kokomo extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Korbyn Hammel. The Wildkats strolled past the Richmond Red Devils with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-43 for which the team can thank Hammel, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least 18 points. Erivon Burks and DJ Nash also reached double digits. Jamael Cosley was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Kokomo's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Richmond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16. Looking ahead, Kokomo will be playing at home against Indianapolis Metropolitan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moving to 4-0 in the NCC, and after a Muncie Central win over Anderson Saturday the Wildkats are NCC Champs!
