The Lady Kats fell to Pike 1-4 on a beautiful Thursday evening. Pike was a strong and physical team and we got out powered. Our team had glimpse of greatness, but we couldn't keep them out of our net or keep possession of the ball. Ellen Callane had an impressive goal after a fabulous run by Iris Brehm. Darriunna Kirby and Layken McDorman played strong on defense. Iris Brehm and Lily Taskey made a real difference in the middle. Maddie Carpenter continues to be our defensive MVP with quality saves time and time again. We are looking forward to a holiday weekend to rest and recover as our injury list is growing. Tonight we really missed Elaina Gibson, Nancy Laughner, and Gisella Herara. The Lady Kats will be back on the pitch Tuesday at home facing McCutcheon High School.
