Varsity vs Tipton (60 - 50) Win Kokomo defeated Tipton 60–50 behind strong performances from D.J. Nash and Korbyn Hammel. Hammel scored his 1,000th career point, becoming the 16th player in school history to reach the milestone, while finishing with 13 points and six assists. Nash added 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, along with eight rebounds and five assists, and has now shot at least 56% from the field in four straight games. Caleb Taflinger chipped in a career-high 10 points. Kokomo shared the ball well all night, finishing with 16 assists as a team. When Kokomo moves the ball like that, it is tough to beat. The win improves Kokomo’s record to 10-5, and the Wildkats will return home Wednesday night to host Indianapolis Metropolitan at 7:30 p.m.
