Girls (110 - 60) Loss Thursday night the Katfish the Oak Hill Golden Eagles during our final home meet of the season and our senior night. Swimming many events for the first time this season, the Katfish gave it their all against a strong Oak Hill team but ultimately lost (110 - 60). First place finishes include: The 200 Free Relay of Morgan Rakestraw, Maddie Armstrong, Alyssa Frederick, and Shanna Fowler. Individually, the Katfish were led by Shanna Fowler who took first place in both the 200 & 500 Freestyle. Other first place finishes include: Morgan Rakestraw in the 200 IM and Maddie Armstrong in the 100 Breaststroke. Additional shoutouts Teagan Dalton for completing her first 500 Freestyle, Lily Polk for her 200 Freestyle, Jara Loboda in the 200 IM, Alyssa Frederick, Clarissa Landrum, and Averie Stiner for their completion of the 100 Fly, and Gretchen Riggle for her “Redemption 500 Freestyle”. We had a fantastic time celebrating our senior girls: Maddie Armstrong, Teagan Dalton, Emma Di Stefano, Emiliye Mendoza, Morgan Rakestraw, and Gretchen Riggle throughout the night. All of our seniors will be missed dearly but their impact on the program will never be forgotten. Go Katfish! - Coach Whiteman
