Boys (118 - 51) Win Wednesday night the Katfish traveled up to Walton, Indiana to compete against the Lewis Cass Kings in their first of two back-to-back meets. The Katfish had a strong showing placing first in 9 of the 11 swimming events on their way to a 118 - 51 victory over the Kings. First place finishes include: Phenix Bray, Zavier Larmer, Tae Ow Kanayama, Hutch Munsey in the 200 Medley Relay; Carter McClain, Phenix Bray, Zavier Larmer, Oliver Taskey in the 200 Free Relay; and Hutch Munsey, Carter McClain, Oliver Taskey, Tae Ow Kanayama in the 400 Free Relay. Individually, the Katfish were led by double-winners Oliver Taskey (200 Free & 100 Free), Hutch Munsey (200 IM & 500 Free). Other first place finishers include: Tae Ow Kanayama in the 100 Fly and Zavier Larmer in the 100 Breaststroke. We performed very well, with many athletes swimming events for the first time this season. Freshman Elliot Taskey had a solid swim in the 100 Fly, Odin Salinas improved his times in the 200 & 500 Freestyle, and our 200 Free Relay all swam :26 second splits. We swam tough and used our depth to pull off a solid win tonight - going 1, 2, 3 in a couple of races. The Katfish are back in action at home tomorrow for senior night against Oak Hill at 6pm! Go Katfish! -Coach Whiteman
