Kats dominate on Senior Night

The Kokomo Wildkats put on a dominant performance on Senior Night, cruising to a 54–12 victory over the Tigers in front of a lively home crowd. The atmosphere was fitting for the occasion, as the Wildkats honored their seniors by delivering a complete team effort from start to finish. From the opening whistle, Kokomo controlled the tempo and left little doubt about the outcome. Several Wildkats secured key wins early to build momentum. Senior Cameron Byrd wasted no time, earning a lightning-fast pin in just :47 to energize the crowd. Jacob Hodges, Sebastien Klueh, and Stacy Rund each added important team points by forfeit, helping Kokomo quickly stretch the lead and keep pressure on the Tigers throughout the dual. The Wildkats also shined while wrestling up in tough matchups. Senior Dorian Barbour delivered an impressive technical fall, winning 17–2 and showcasing his dominance. Senior Josh Sawyer-May followed with a hard-fought fall at 3:21, while Senior Christien Damewood and Joelle Nieto each picked up pins at 1:01 and 1:21 respectively, continuing the scoring surge for Kokomo. Shaun Rodgers capped off the night with a forfeit win, sealing the decisive 54–12 final score. It was a special Senior Night performance that highlighted the Wildkats’ depth, grit, and teamwork. With a mix of quick pins, bonus-point victories, and confidence across the lineup, the Wildkats truly tamed the Tigers and gave their seniors a night to remember.
