Varsity vs Fort Wayne Snider High School (45 - 56) Loss Kokomo showed plenty of fight in a hard-fought 56–45 game on Saturday, continuing to compete with toughness and resilience. The Wildkats had strong individual performances that highlighted the team’s potential and effort from start to finish. Korbyn Hammel played well, leading the way with a dominant double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Caleb Taflinger also contributed, adding key minutes and points that helped keep the offense moving. While the final score didn’t go Kokomo’s way, the Wildkats continue to show flashes of what they’re capable of, and their 7–4 record reflects a team that is still very much in a strong position as the season progresses. This group continues to gain experience and build chemistry, which should pay dividends moving forward. Kokomo will look to carry that effort onto the road Friday night when they face Harrison at 7:30 p.m., aiming to turn the positives from this performance into their next win.
