Lady Kats Bounce Back with Dominant Win Over Northwestern The Lady Kats responded in a big way, earning a 66–27 bounce-back victory over Northwestern. Kokomo was on fire from beyond the arc, shooting an impressive 70% from three-point range, while recording 15 team assists by making the extra pass and finding the hot hand. Freshmen Camryn Tucker and Taniyah Jones were outstanding, combining to go 8-for-9 from three. Tucker led all scorers with 15 points. Satyra Scott added 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Jhordyn Brown chipped in 11 points and 3 steals. Eliana Stewart was a force defensively with 8 points and 7 steals, and Amara Stroman filled the stat sheet with 6 assists and 4 steals. Defense set the tone all night as the Lady Kats played aggressively and forced 27 steals as a team, turning defense into offense and separating early. It was a total team effort, and Kokomo looks to carry this momentum into next week when the Lady Kats travel to Harrison on Tuesday. GO KATS. — Coach Haley Peckinpaugh
