The Kokomo Wildkats put together a complete team effort to capture the championship at the TC Super Duals, finishing the day undefeated and proving their depth across the lineup. Kokomo went 6-0 in dual competition, earning decisive wins over TC (59-24), Marion (53-24), Southmont (54-24), and Sheridan (40-24). Each dual showcased the Wildkats’ balance of veteran leadership and emerging contributors as they continued to build momentum this season. The highlight of the tournament came early in a tightly contested battle with Speedway, where the Wildkats edged out a hard-fought 42-32 victory. The close dual set the tone for the rest of the day, as Kokomo responded with composure, clutch wins, and bonus-point performances when they mattered most. That win over Speedway proved to be a turning point and ultimately a key factor in securing the team title. Individually, the Wildkats had several standout performances. Joelle Nieto led the way with a perfect 6-0 record, while Josh Sawyer-May, Devon Rush, Jacob Hodges, Sebastein Klueh, and Stacy Rund each finished 5-1. Strong contributions also came from Waylon Mossholder and Rylan Berry, both going 4-2, helping Kokomo maintain control throughout the tournament. A special moment came from Portugal international student Fransisco Juan, who picked up his first two wins of the season with a 2-4 showing. His progress and perseverance added another positive storyline to an already successful day. With strong team chemistry, continued individual growth, and the confidence of a championship performance, the Wildkats left the TC Super Duals with hardware—and plenty to build on moving forward.
