Varsity vs Marion (71 - 68) Win Kokomo is still undefeated this season after their contest against Marion on Friday, but Marion came as close as anyone has to beating them. It was close, but the Wildkats ultimately received the gift of a 71-68 win from a begrudging Wildkats squad. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against the Giants since December 18, 2020. Kokomo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from D.J. Nash, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Nash a new career-high in assists (six). Korbyn Hammel was another key player, shooting 4-for-6 from long range and almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Kokomo's win bumped their record up to 4-0 & 1-0 in the NCC. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
