Girls vs. Logansport (86 - 80) Loss Girls vs. Rochester (97 - 69) Win After a long week of practice and final exams, Saturday morning the Katfish traveled to Logansport to compete in a double-dual meet against Logansport and Rochester. Despite placing first in 9 of the 11 swim events, Logansport’s 2-3 scoring lifted them past the Katfish by a mere 6 points; Kokomo did however beat Rochester by 19 points. First place finishes include: 200 Medley Relay (Clarissa Landrum, Shanna Fowler, Morgan Rakestraw, Maddie Armstrong), 200 Free Relay (Maddie Armstrong, Emma Di Stefano, Alyssa Frederick, Shanna Fowler). Individual winners include: Morgan Rakestraw in the 200 IM & 100 Free, Alyssa Frederick in the 200 Free & 500 Free, Shanna Fowler in the 50 Free & 100 Breaststroke, and Maddie Armstrong in the 100 Fly. We had some good races after an incredibly busy week, but simply didn’t do enough to take the clean sweep.
