A rough shooting night, season-high turnovers, and foul trouble led to a tough outcome for the Lady Kats on Friday night against #12 McCutcheon. Kokomo scored its fewest points of the season and committed a season-high number of turnovers, which propelled McCutcheon to a commanding win. Kokomo continues to work through the inconsistency that comes with a young roster, and that youth showed against a veteran McCutcheon team. Despite the loss, there were bright spots. Jhordyn Brown led the Lady Kats on the glass with 7 rebounds, while Akiera Huntsman recorded 3 steals. Freshman Ziyae Tyler added 2 blocks and provided quality minutes off the bench.
