Kokomo Athletics

Varsity vs McCutcheon (55 - 40) Kokomo came into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. After three quarters of back and forth basketball, the Kats came away with a 55-40 victory over the McCutcheon Mavericks. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but the Wildkats came alive offensively in the second half. Erivon Burks was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 7-for-14 on his way to 22 points. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of D.J. Nash, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. The Kats are back in action next Friday at Marion to open up NCC play.
