Girls (85 - 73) Win Thursday night our Katfish hosted the Tipton Blue Devils to secure their second win of the season! Meet highlights include first place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay (Maddie Armstrong, Shanna Fowler, Morgan Rakestraw, Clarissa Landrum), 200 Freestyle Relay (Clarissa Landrum, Morgan Rakestraw, Shanna Fowler, Alyssa Frederick). Individually, top finishes include quadruple winners; Shanna Fowler (100 Free & 100 Breast), triple winners Morgan Rakestraw (100 Fly), Alyssa Frederick (200 Free & 500 Free). Other meet highlights include: Jara Laboda’s third place finish in the 100 breaststroke, Mattie Rayl’s swim in the 200 IM, and the completion of rookie swimmer Isla Duncan’s first 500 Free! We had some great races last night and our numbers proved to be the difference. Lots of swimmers had to step up and compete in new events, they did a fantastic job. Great team effort all around, incredibly pleased with everyone’s performance and energy on deck all night!! - Coach Whiteman
