Kats finish Top 6

The Kokomo Wildkat Boys Wrestling Team put together a solid performance at the John Hurrle Invitational, finishing 6th overall. The team showed good effort across all weight classes and continued to make progress as the season moves forward. Several wrestlers from Arsenal Tech had strong days. X’Avion Ford led the way with a 4-1 record and a third-place finish at 132 pounds. At 138, Rylan Berry went 3-2 and finished fourth, while Rave Arthur added a 3-2 record at 144 pounds. In the middle weights, Saun Rodgers (157) and David Conner (165) both earned 3-2 records and fourth-place finishes. At 175 pounds, Devon Rush had one of the team’s best performances, going 4-1 to place third and score important points. David Conner picked up his 100th Career Victory at the tournament. At 215 pounds, Sebastien Klueh rounded out the medalists with a 4-1 record and a third-place finish. Overall, the Wildkats competed hard all day and continue to move in the right direction as they build confidence and experience.
