Lady Kats Battle Back for 50–43 Win Over Peru The Lady Kats got off to a slow start against Peru, but a determined second-half surge helped them secure a hard-fought 50–43 victory. Increased defensive intensity sparked the turnaround, as the Kats forced 16 steals and used their hustle to create easy transition opportunities. While outside shots weren’t falling, unselfish play shined with 12 team assists. Eliana Stewart delivered a standout performance, nearly posting a quadruple-double with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 steals, and 4 assists. Jhordyn Brown followed with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, providing key scoring and toughness. Satyra Scott added 12 points and 5 rebounds, while Amara Stroman directed the offense with a team-high 6 assists. The Lady Kats return to action next Wednesday as they travel to Lewis Cass.
