The girls cross-country team raced and Northwestern High School tonight & placed 7th overall as a team. They were led by sophomore Gretchen Riggle who placed 10th in her race with a time of 14:44, which is a 71 second PR for her on this course. Rounding out our top 5 were Morgan Rakestraw, Christina Durham, Claire Callane, & Leo de Bettignies. Overall the girls ran well, as out of 7 girls 6 raced for the first time ever. I am excited about this group and I think they have a high ceiling. We will continue to work to get better and it starts this Saturday as we race in the Jacob Graf invite at Logansport High School. The races begin at 9:00am and we hope to see you there! Go KATS! Coach Ousley
