The boys cross-country traveled across town to Northwestern to take part in the Northwestern Combine. This is a 3k race and a good race to knock the rust off for our vets or see what a race looks like for our new runners. The boys team placed 6th out of 11 teams. They were led by sophomore Cooper Cage who ran a 10:16 and placed 6th overall. Rounding out our top 5 were Connor Frederick, Kelton Serra, Preston Arreola, & Gabe Newland. Overall the guys had a good night racing & we will keep working to get better, as we start our season. Our next race is Saturday, August 19th, at Logansport High School. We will be running in the Jacob Graf Invite and running our normal 5k distance. The race starts at 9:00am. Go KATS! Coach Ousley
